I really was horrified to be unlucky enough to accidentally tune into Virgin Radio this afternoon (Tuesday 26th) when Kris Fade, decided that it would make entertaining radio to throw a comedic spin on the unfortunate plight of Dede Koswara, the gentleman suffering from a terrible skin condition that has left the majority of his body riddled with bark like warts. As if it isn't enough to be dubbed "the tree man" Kris thought it would be amusing to encourage the public to call in with suggestions of what advantages there might be to actually being a "tree" man. I won't dignify the crassness by mentioning some of the suggestions made, and besides I soon turned off the dreadful show.I wonder if Kris Fade would still make the jokes if the "tree man" were a member of his family or someone else he cared about or even knew.I very much doubt he would.Really, really poor show and furthermore, I would I have expected a professional radio entertainer to be able to come up with something better; there is plenty of more tasteful material out there.
