Fed: Howard praises Bush and Blair for role in Iraq war

Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD says US President GEORGE W BUSH and British Prime Minister
TONY BLAIR have helped make the world safer.

The British and US leaders have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by right-wing
Norwegian MP JAN SIMONSEN.

But being nominated doesn't mean much -- last year there were 165 nominations.

Mr HOWARD says he's absolutely unconditional in his continued support for what BUSH
and BLAIR have done, and he has great respect for both of them.
